Friday, February 2rd,
The time of departure from Portland will be between 8-9am - Exact time TBD ~ Depending on who signs up - We may be picking up folks in Auburn, Augusta and/or Watervillle.
We will plan to make a rest/coffee/snack stop at Northern Outdoors in The Forks before we cross the border.
We'll arrive in Old Quebec to check-in to the Chateau Frontenac around 4pm (Depending on weather, traffic etc.)

Saturday, February 3
The day is yours to explore the sights and sounds of the Old City and Festival. I will be in the Chateau lobby at 8am on Saturday morning and plan to head down to the old lower city for breakfast and then take a ferry ride across the icy St. Lawrence- all are welcome to join me.
We will board the bus in the afternoon for a visit to the Iconic Hotel de Glace and then continue onto watch the Parade
The Parade’s location and schedules will be announced shortly!
SUNDAY, February 4th
1:00p ICE CANOE RACES - VIEW race from Chateau or set up area north along the banks of the River

Each February the Quebec Winter Carnival hosts the biggest competition of the year, le Grand Defi Des Glace with over 40 teams!
Monday, February 5th
Breakfast on your own
11:00am - Check out of your rooms by 11:00a - Leave luggage in room - Chateau Frontenac bellman will transfer to lobby/coach
2:00p - Approximate departure from the Chateau Frontenac -
You should plan to eat breakfast and Lunch before we head out.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks on the bus for the ride home. I usually bring some treats and pastries from the Palliard's bakery
7:30p - 9:00p - Approx arrival to Waterville, Augusta, Auburn and Portland.
