Our 15 day journey of Namibia and Botswana will begin with the stunning desert landscapes and great sand dunes at Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon where we will arrive at sunrise to advantage of the early morning light for the best photo opportunities and lasting memories.  We’ll experience the remoteness of Namibia, a very diverse country with an array of habitats and vegetation, one of the few countries where animals still roam freely mostly unrestricted by human influence.  Namibia is home to some of the largest elephants in Africa and the endangered black rhino, leopards, lion and giraffes rising high above the dry vegetation.

Entering Botswana  offers us the opportunity to interact with the well-known but rare culture of the Koi San and hear about their traditional life in the Kalahari bush.  We also will experience abundant game viewing and authentic, tented accommodation here in Botswana, the traditional way to spend time in one of Africa's most superb wildlife regions. We will enjoy the luxurious seclusion of East African-style safari tents, set on raised decks, each featuring an en suite bathroom.

Our journey includes a visit to the capital city of Maun, optional scenic flight over the spectacular Okavango Delta, a boat trip on the Chobe River and concludes with an evening at Ehlathini Lodge - a jewel with a view hidden away in the African Bush. We then continue our southward journey towards Gauteng, the smallest but most populated province in South Africa to reach O.R Tambo International airport in time for our flight back home.

Optional Johannesburg extension available - inquire for details!
